BostonFest: A love letter to the city’s Entrepreneurial and Gastronomical Best.

Atop the harbor’s SeaPort World Trade Center lay the perfect way to end the week, celebrate the city we call home, and mingle with other startups and entrepreneurs.  With a Sam Adams in hand, food trucks to my left, games to my right (hello life-size Jenga), and live music in front of me, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Thursday night.

One of the cooler features of the event had to be the "Why Life is Good" interactive wall art. Featuring the phrase, “Life is good in Boston because…,” the chalkboard wall encouraged people to fill in the blank, expressing their love for the city. Our very own @clairedwillett made a contribution herself.

I spent a good portion of the event wandering around with POP phones in hand, chatting with local startups and entrepreneurs (shout out to Boston Start Up School!).  It was great to talk with others about projects they were working on and what was happening in the Boston tech scene. Plus we were able to drum up some more entertaining Tweets for the #undertime contest, asking folks what they would do with an extra 6.5 hours in their day. You can catch a few of the entries in our Storify recap.

A BIG thank you to all of the judges (@schneidermike, @patticus, @PaulHlatky, @ca_webb)  who donated their time to help with the #undertime contest.   With a bit of nostalgia we  put together a photo album of the event. (BostonInnovation has a BostonFest recap of their own, which is also worth checking out.)

All-in-all, if I had an extra 6.5 hours I'd go back to BostonFest.
